what can i do but love them back?
]]>You think Bill is going to settle for being number 3? I mean Hillary’s gonna have trouble hanging on to the number 1 spot as it is with Bill around. She’ll maintain only because her name will be on the actual door. But don’t get it twisted, in Bill’s brain this will be Hillary’s first term, his third.
So yeah, he’ll except that she’s president but there’s no way in hell Bill’s going to let some idiot V.P. see more of the action than him.
Bill: Look pal, I was getting blowjobs in this office while you were still popping zits, okay? I’ll handle this. Go invent the internet or something.
I have visions of Air Force One taking off as the forgotten vice president runs down the tarmac after them. You guys! You forgot me again! Hello?!!
Air Force One Flight Attendant: Um excuse me Madam President but it seems we’ve taken off without the vice president again.
Hillary: No we didn’t, Bill’s right here. Bill wake up…
Attendant: No Madam. The actual vice president.
Hillary: Ohhhhhhhhh…right. Well. Hmm…what should we do? You know what? Forget it, let’s just go. Okay? We’ll just keep going. Oh and stewardess…
Attendant: Flight attendant.
Hillary: Uh huh, anyway can I use your cellphone? I’ll just call’em. … … … Got his voicemail. ..Hey vicey, it’s Hill. Look Bill was out late last night. So was I. Both of us got completely shitfaced…ANYwayz we just barely made the flight this morning and we’re real sorry we took off without you again. Okay? Aye yi yi, so stupid right? ANYwayz, tell you what, why don’t you stay in the White House this weekend, okay? There’s food in the fridge, you can bring your laundry over, Bill just got some new porn, you know, make yourself at home and we’ll be back on Tuesday. Sound good? Oh and don’t delete any of the Gossip Girls on Tivo, we’re not caught up. Well Bill is but I’m not. Okay T.M.I. right?! Hahahaha!!!! ANYwayz, byeeee! Kisses!! X! X! X! X!
He’ll be fine.
]]>In the Gallup polls released today, we are starting to see the SC/Kennedy bumps materialize (gallup.com). In just 10 days Hillary’s lead in the national poll has shrunk from 20 points to 6. And, according to exit polls in Florida, among voters who decided in the last week, Barack beat HRC with 41% to her 34% (CNN.com).
Florida: In a contest that was stripped of its delegates and where the candidates refused to campaign, this particular exit poll strikes me as promising for Obama. Typically candidates campaign for weeks in the early primary states, inundating the voters with press, speeches, appearances, ads, etc. None of that was allowed to happen in Florida. I believe that the momentum that Obama has steadily gained in the last month helped him with the late deciding voters there and I am hopeful that the same groundswell will surface on Super Tuesday. Yes, Hillary still “won” in FL, but that is to be expected – she has been the front runner from the beginning. Her lead is shrinking by the day.
A big thanks to John Edwards, for not only running an admirable campaign, but also for the timing his announcement today. I am certain that it quashed the Hillary/FL story that would have inevitably saturated the democratic side of political news today.
When campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire Hillary promised voters that should would neither campaign nor participate in the debunked Michigan and Florida primaries. Yet, she was the only major Democratic candidate who remained on the ballot in Michigan. And then, (and far worse) after an embarrassing loss in South Carolina, she flew to Florida to campaign to voters that she had previously dismissed. Her “victory party” last night and her statements regarding having the FL delegates reinstated are the desperate politics of a scared campaign. And if the exit polls and national gallup polls show anything, they should be scared.
The tide is changing.
