Last night, as all you people worth-a-damn know, was the Season Premeire of LOST on ABC. Our pals Emily and John at “The Couch” have put together a little recap of this week’s episode (AND they will every week for us, so look here for it!) So without any more of our chatter-boxy mouth, here it is.

The Beginning of the End.

Well folks here we are just as the title of this episodes states this is the beginning of them end and in true LOST for we find that we have more questions than answers, are still confused about the time line and of course our jaws are sore from them hitting the floor so many times. And we would not be any happier.

Today in my office there was a small discussion about the show where many of the guys in the office compared this show to a girl talking about giving you a lap dance but then of course never delivering. I would like to think of Lost more like the ultimate foreplay and that in the end there will be a big pay off. (At least I hope there will be) True fans are in this for the long haul the good the bad. Those who want instant gratification, there is a strip club down by the airport that is open 24 hours a day, get your rocks off there.

Well, if you didn’t watch last nights amazing rerun of the Season Finale of last seasons run of LOST, you need to redeem your soul by at least watching tonight’s Season Premiere. The fourth season of Lost finally premieres tonight at 9/8c on ABC. The episode, entitled “The Beginning of the End,” is described as such: Feeling that their rescue is close at hand, the survivors don’t know whether or not to believe Charlie’s final message that the people claiming to liberate them are not who they seem to be. The episode is directed by Jack Bender and written by Damon Lindelof and Calrton Cuse.

Speaking of Damon Lindelof, the co-creator of the series has this to say to his fans: “All I can say is that it means the world to us that you’re about to watch the 73rd hour of the show and you’re still on board. It’s you guys that make us sprinkle the extra fairy dust on every script with hopes of kick starting something in your imagination… or even your heart. Let the games begin!!!”

elistone.jpgABC has a new Lawyer Drama starting on January 31st. It is called Eli Stone and stars Jonny Lee Miller. Anybody still reading? Oh good. Remember how Ally McBeal had those hallucinations of dancing babies? Well Eli Stone has hallucinations of dancing George Michaels.

Honestly, I don’t think the show stands much of a chance. Jonny Lee Miller (’Hackers’ star once married to Angelina Jolie for all you folks who didn’t know!) just doesn’t read TV Star to me, but I’ll totally watch George Michael selling out to the boys at A-B-C (echo) boys at ABC. I joke. I actually think this is a great way for George to re-introduce himself to America. (He owes Berlanti HUGE!) In a recent print interview George referred to it as “my show” which I found, well, very ‘Jitterbug!’ Anyway, set the DVR.

big.jpg ABC has benched freshman dramedy “Big Shots.”

The network has pulled the remaining three scheduled episodes — two originals and one repeat — of the series starring Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina.

The network will air repeats of another freshman series, medical drama “Private Practice,” in the Thursday 10 p.m. slot on Dec. 13, 20 and 27.

This could be a tryout behind “Grey’s Anatomy,” the series that spun it off.

”Shots,” which landed the coveted post-”Grey’s” time slot in May, was greeted with mixed reviews and a cold reception by viewers.

Still, given the dearth of original scripted programming the networks are facing with the strike stretching into the new year, ABC plans to air the remaining three original “Shots” episodes in January.

“Shots,” along with fellow rookie drama “Women’s Murder Club,” have not been picked up for a full season. The other three ABC freshman one-hours, “Practice,” “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Pushing Daisies,” have received back-nine orders.

nov141.jpgIt’s true, I am a huge fan of Ugly Betty, HUGE. Its cheesy Telemundo type attitude and stylistic flow of a cheesy Batman film makes me want to curl up and watch it over and over on my DVR. As for their new guest star, Penelope Cruz, I would have to say the opposite. As gorgeous as she is, I am just not prepared to see someone else mosey on into Mode Magazine and be some sex pot editor from a competing magazine and try to steal Betty away from Daniel Meade.

Penelope Cruz took her new beau, Javier Bardem, out for lunch yesterday at one of her favorite LA eateries, the Italian restaurant Madeo. It’s reported that Cruz is going to try the small screen on for size and is preparing to make a guest appearance on the hit sitcom “Ugly Betty.” I’m unsure as to when or where since this strike is still in full swing. Maybe her and Salma are going to just shoot the whole thing on a digi-cam and edit it with a new Mac book. At this point, I may watch it.

Well, I did it. I’m starting a blog. I know what your thinking….WHY!! NO!!!, but hey, I’m doing it so lets just all walk it off, take a deep breath and soak it in. Where are we going to start first?

Bush talks with France’s Mr Sarkozy

nov71.jpgThe US and French presidents say they will work jointly to convince Iran to give up its nuclear programme…..I watched Mr Sarkozy’s speech this morning…and as amazingly nice and hopeful as it seemed, he tended to use things like Elvis Priestly and Martin Luther King Jr. to draw in Congress (which by the way was the first speech given in over a decade by a French leader.) He had amazing points, and talked a lot about the fall of the dollar in comparison to the Euro…which I think is a big deal, so that could be a large step forward, but this whole buddy buddy act with Bush is gross.

Rebecca De Mornay has been arrested!!

nov73.jpgFor investigation of drunken driving, a magazine reported Tuesday. The baby stealing mamma was stopped Oct. 30 for a traffic violation in BH when officers smelled booze on her breath, according to People magazine. Authorities told the magazine her blood alcohol level was .09% above the legal limit of .08%. Come on guys…..01% over, she rocked the cradle in both the movie of the same name AND with pre-gay Tom Cruise! She deserves a blind eye.

The CMAs are on ABC tonight, do we care?

nov72.jpgEveryone who voted for Bush still have one thing in common, they will all be watching the same channel tonight. ABC! With people like the adorably clueless Miley Sirus (Hannah Montana) and Carrie Underwood (no bad things to say here) in attendance, this is the only thing on TV worth watching I guess….unless your one of the 8 people that watches “Back to You” on FOX.(For a list of Nominees click here. )
