The soundtrack to David O. Russell’s 2004 “existential comedy” I Heart Huckabees is by acclaimed songwriter /producer /multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion. Since the watershed year of 1999, when he produced Fiona Apple’s second album, When the Pawn Hits the King, and wrote the score for Paul Thomas Anderson’s third film, Magnolia (including producing Aimee Mann’s songs for the film), Brion’s stock has been on the rise, and he’s been in high demand as a collaborator and film composer, which means that he hasn’t had a chance to release a solo album since 2001 (and even that was only available through his website, www.jonbrion.com).

Interviewer - “Why should people vote for your dad?”
Sarah - “Because he’s my dad.”

S - “People are looking for a consistant conservative”
Are they Sarah? I mean, I am not sure PEOPLE are?

S - “Some insight into my dad…until I graduated from High School, every Wednesday I always went to breakfast with my dad.”
Every Wednesday? Where was he the other mornings? I understand he was the Governor, but Governors gotta eat too… not just on Wednesdays.

I - “How was it being a preachers kid?”
S - “You’re constantly under a microscope, now he’s just dealing with a lot bigger church”
So he is seeing this as dealing with our Nation as a Church? hmmm….interesting.

S - “Your father mentioned he opposed miniskirts, have you worn miniskirts?”
HE opposes MINISKIRTS? How does he pick these issues he is so passionate about?!

We all know how I, and millions of well educated, worldly, open-minded, well traveled and understanding Americans feel about the douche-bag that is Mike Huckabee. He is a complete waste of 2008’s time, if you want to have a conversation with someone like this man, build a time machine and set it to 1965.
