Holy copy paste Batman, it’s fantastic! Here’s the NLLR mixtape by B. Rich released a couple weeks ago. Couldn’t resist posting it. It’s got such a nice dirty sound to it, seemingly somewhat unique to electro out of the US. I’ve heard similar from LA Riots and Guns N Bombs, though I can’t find another word to describe it other than ‘dirty’. Looking at the tracklist, I can see why I like it.

The beginning of the summer just got really hot. Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Kimberly Wyatt are back. The Grammy-nominated quintet kicks off the beginning of the summer in a big way with performances of “When I Grow Up” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (May 20) and The 2008 MTV Movie Awards (June 1). The Dolls will also be seen hosting and performing on VH1’s “Maxim Hot 100″ (premiering May 27) and their E! “True Hollywood Story” will premiere on May 23.
“When I Grow Up” is the first single from the follow-up to PCD, the 2005 debut album that put the Dolls on the global pop map. The Rodney Jerkins-produced track will be released commercially on May 27.

Timbaland is releasing his 4th official single off his album “Shock Value”. The song is called “Scream” and it features the great Keri Hilson and Nicole Scherzinger. Living in Los Angeles, I guess you kind of become numb as to what restaurant is cool when. Katsuya, another one of L.A.’s sushi joints, seems to be the kind of place you throw on a Roberto Cavali dress and act like your going to some swanky record release party. At least these four pop-princesses think it is… Fergie (ala Kids Incorporated/ Eden’s Crush fame), Nicole Scherzinger (ala Pussycat Dolls fame), Eve (ala I have tattoos of leopard paws so I’m vicious fame), & Mary J. Blige (ala, I have real talent unlike these other women fame.) It’s like they all happen to need publicity for their newly hatched single and had a craving for sushi all on the same night. All we’re missing is Dakota Fanning and we could have a killer remake of Little Women!
Coincidence that they are all there…..hmmm….just as much as a coincidence that both of the Gyllenhaal’s are famous AND childen of two Hollywod Moguls! (kids of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner. Their godmother is Jamie Lee Curtis and godfather is Paul Newman, wow!)
