From my pal over at Uhlikethat.com comes a Holiday CD like no other. We did a little preview last night while putting up the tree and lets just say that when you put it on shuffle and you get a little bit of the Chipmunks followed by Kellie Pickler, the only thing you can do to keep down your hot cocoa is simply sing along.
My favorite track has to be the Christmas Wrapping byt The Spice Girls…. and here is a little Spice Trivia from my buddy Oliver. Mel B and Victoria were both preggers during the recording of this song, so neither are featured on the track.

Backstreet Boys are back with their second single ‘Helpless When She Smiles’- although I don’t agree with the single choice. They should have released ‘Any Other Way’ or ‘Unmistakable’ before this. It’s a good song, and I’m not saying it’s terrible- just that there are better songs to release. Actually, to be honest….I’m not sure I even like the Backstreet Boys, but I’m a sucker for comebacks.

It would be a cold-hearted individual who didn’t feel a little bit sorry for Craig David. The guy went from the ‘Next Big Thing‘ to a public laughing stock in the blink of an eye. It looked for a while like the funny-haired garage sensation was going to be forced to spend the rest of his life being mocked with cat-calls of ‘Where’s Kes?’ and ‘Craaaaaaig David‘ while working down his local Pizza Hut in Southampton. But fear not, fans of the beanie hat-wearing slicker-than-the-average pop star, because he’s back. And blow us if he hasn’t got a hit on his hands…..and by hit, I mean a whole MONSTER of an amazing CD.
Here his first single, Hot Stuff, off of that little bugga’s new CD, out in London and the US this week…..and we admit the main reason this tune’s got us flexing our limbs around the dancefloor is the stupendous David Bowie ‘Let’s Dance’ sample. But hey, if K. West is allowed to nick his beats from forgotten ’80s gems, why can’t Craig? OH, and I included a little remix as well, enjoy.

My favorite lil UK Hottie Kate Nash’s song Foundations, is this weeks NEW SONG THURSDAY! She has some new great stuff out like Merry Happy and Mouthwash on her MySpace site, but this is my absolute favorite! Also check out her stuff on iTunes. She has a sound similar to Lily Allen and Regina Spektor, with a little more wit and heart. She plays with Jay (Guitar, tambourine, bass, synth-s, laptop), Elliottt (Drums), Meg (Violin) and Brett (Guitars).
